Collaboration
Vamp is built for working on the same timeline with other people. Everyone sees tracks, clips, and mix changes in real time.
Invite contributors
Open the members dialog from the facepile in the editor header. Search by username and assign a role: Admin, Contributor, or Read-only. You can invite several people in one batch.
Roles
- Admin — full edit access plus member and visibility management. The owner is always an admin.
- Contributor — can record, edit clips, and mix unless a track is locked.
- Read-only — can listen and inspect but not change the project.
Copy project link
Click Copy link in the collaborators area to copy the Vamp URL. Send it to someone who already has access, or adjust visibility so the link works for others.
Link visibility
Admins open the settings menu and choose link visibility:
- Only people on this Vamp — the link works for members only.
- Anyone with the link — non-members can open the Vamp with read-only access.
Live sync
When two or more editors have the same Vamp open, changes sync over the network. Undo history is collaborative — Mod+Z reverses your own recent edits in shared history.
