Account and limits
Your account determines storage capacity and access to premium features such as amp simulation and desktop input monitoring.
Plan label
Open the app menu to see your plan: Free, Paid, or Early Access. The label reflects your current entitlements on the server.
Storage quota
Vamp tracks total storage used by your uploaded audio. The app menu and server enforce a maximum. When you are near or over the limit:
- New recordings and file imports are blocked.
- A recording already in progress may save a partial take if the limit is hit mid-session.
Storage usage updates after uploads complete.
Premium effects
Amp Simulation and Cabinet Simulation require the premium effects entitlement. Free accounts see these effects in the catalog but cannot add them to a chain.
Desktop input monitoring
Live input monitoring through track effects (headphones button on an armed track) requires both the desktop app and the monitor-input entitlement, which paid plans include.
Email and password
Manage sign-in credentials through the registration and password-reset flows. Email must stay confirmed for login to succeed.
