About Vamp
Make music collaboratively. Vamp is a multi-track audio workstation designed for ideation.
Built for starting ideas together
Vamp is for the early stages of a song — sketching parts, trading takes, and hearing an idea take shape with other people in the room (or across the world). It is a multi-track timeline where recording, arranging, and playback stay close to the creative moment, not buried under production ceremony.
Collaborate on the same project
Invite contributors into a shared project. Everyone works on the same timeline: tracks, clips, and mixes stay in sync so you can build on each other's ideas instead of emailing stems back and forth.
Record, arrange, and loop
Capture takes onto tracks, place and trim clips, and use pulse tracks as a flexible metronome grid. Loop regions help you stack ideas quickly — whether you are jamming with friends, workshopping with a band, or teaching students how a song comes together.
On the web, and on the desktop
Open Vamp in the browser to get started, or use the desktop app when you want a native window and deeper audio capabilities. Sign up free and start a project whenever the idea hits.
